Olympic athlete to visit Canterbury School

Plans have been made for Olympic athlete Amy Yoder Begley to visit Canterbury School this Thursday. Ms. Begley placed 26th in the 10,000m race with a time of 32:38.28 in Beijing. She lives in Beaverton, Oregon but has family in northeast Indiana.
Ms. Begley was born in Goshen, grew up in Kendallville and graduated from East Noble High School in 1996. She has a bachelor of science degree in excercise science/biomechanics from the University of Arkansas, and plans to address students in all divisions about the challenges of training as an Olympic-level athlete.
